okay so i have really dark hair, like on the verge of black and i want to lighten it. i talked to my mom about it and she doesn't want me to dye it. i've tried lemon juice and it didn't show enough of the result i wanted. i was reading seventeen magazine and there was an add for sunsilk. would the blonde sunsilk shampoo and conditioner lighten my hair? what would it do if otherwise? but other than that are there any products that will lighten it (remember no dyeee.)?

okk well lexa ive told you this like a kajillion timess. put some lemon juice in your hair and go in the sun... and STAY IN IT. dont be like im bored and go insidee. kk. well there you go. it should work.

read that. it has a lotta help in it and good info like the lemon juice is in fact an acid and it will dry out your hair. but it has some tips too. but trust me it does dry out your hair cause when rachel did it to me it dried out my hair. and actually read that for once and alll the way through cause it says what to do for your hair not to be dry.

Not really. Especially if you hair is dark not light brown. Maybe try getting some highlights if you want a change? Even though that is dying, speak to your mum about getting highlights similar to your natural colour but just to add something to your hair?

Simply being in the sun will lighten it alot. Use lemon juice in it while your out in the sun. The acid works like peroxide and will lighten it up.

try sun-in or touch of sun. these are lighteners that spray in and require you to sit in the sun. my friend misused the product, however. she had dark hair like yours and used it too often and stayed in the sun too long and her hair turned red-- for a really long time. its not technically dye. blonde shampoo will not do anything. maybe try a brunette john frieda for a lighter color (he has really good ones.)

what ever you do do not use SUN IN i had brown long hair that i wanted lightened i used sun in within a few months my hair started breaking off i had chuncks of 4 inch hair all over my head it has been a nightmare that is almost the worst thing you can put in your hair i had to cut my hair above my shoulders. good luck
