Can it be removed for good, any home therapies. I read somewhere in a magazine that you could purchase this tool, and its a laser and you zap the root of the hair yourself. Would this be likely to work, or would it be a con.

Any suggestions. Not for myself as I am a guy, but advice for a friends partner.

i'd definetly recommend laser removal at a liscensed specialist the tool seems more like a con.

I think they do sell some home electroysis type kits but it would require a whole lot of patience. Better left to a professional whether electroysis or laser hair removal.

I think you can go to a dermatologist and get it permanently lasered off. But that is the only permanent way to remove it. You can buy dilaporatories and waxing kits for home use, but those are temporarily. If there are kits that involve lasers, I wouldn't use them without a professional's advice.

95% of the home remedies don't work; machines that laser anything off should be done professionally so the "at home" ones are usually junk. Depilatories and creams are temporary but they have come a long way; years ago they used to be smelly and weren't all that effective. About the only tried and true solution is electrolysis but that is costly and a little on the painful side. Laser hair removal is another option, it costs more but has much better results.

there is laser for permanent hair removal, although they are 3 - 4 sitting and it's pretty expensive, or try waxing, threading, shaving, hair removal creams...........they are temporary though

Those zappers advertised in a magazine are not worth the money. You need to be specific and right on the hair, therefore it's hard to do it yourself. Your face does get red and if you do it wrong you could have blisters which in turn can lead to infection and scars.
