[final edit]

You should go for a darker brown color that shines red in the light. According to my April 2007 issue of Seventeen, people with reddish hair (like yours) should use a "deep golden-brown color...to darken your hair slightly and bring out the natural copper tones of your hair".

Don't go lighter, because the color will look fake.

I like the bangs you have right now.

The same Seventeen magazine says that people with heart-shaped faces (like you, I think) should get side bangs with long layers, heavy bangs, or short and full haircuts. You already have haircut number one (I think).

I think darker and a haircut like Victoria Beckham would look killer on you!

Please don't color your hair. Take my advice, it's too expensive, there is a lot of upkeep (Retouching roots every two weeks), and most of the time it looks really fake. Everyone is born with the haircolor that goes best with our particular skin tone, so keep with what you have. I think this kind of haircut is very grown up and it's almost the same color as yours.

Also to look older, I would suggest that you stop putting eyeliner below your eye.
