Yesterday I was flipping through a magazine while at work, there was an ad about some type of herbal shampoo and conditioner that claimed to stop breakage so that split ends were no more and one could grow out their hair to its full thickness.... One of my co-workers and a few patrons remarked on how they wanted that line... I was like this stuff just came out, that lady's hair didn't grow like that from a couple of uses! It was totally obvious that she'd had really long hair and a stylist had just cut it.

people will believe anything I like the old fashion shampoos that actually work like mane n tail. People believe what they want to believe and try to stay in style with there shampoos and perfumes and stuff just like there clothes

People get fooled by these commercials because the commercials make the shampoo sound sooooo goood and soooo helpful when it really can't be. That gets annoying sometimes and usually they just want you to buy the product because they want money. If you really want a shampoo that works, you should go to the salon and ask them.

Because down deep, they really WANT to believe that there is something to make them beautiful like the people in the ad. Sad. I'm glad I'm not that gullible.

An excellent marketing campaign helps. And I think advertisers think that if they say something repeatedly, we will all eventually believe them.

because they are uneducated about hair in general...people think you can repair split ends and u can't they don't understand u have to penetrate the cuticle to enter the hair shaft to repair hair and then its concentrated on the root...the hair on ur head is already dead
